IMHO DDTSS was pretty user friendly some time ago. But looks down today.

I don’t know if Weblate is the best option or not but I do know that current translation system is a PITA even for advance users.

That could be really good move :] Probably not every person, who wishes to help in translation is at the same time coder.

Yes, I already filled bug to update python-requests in Debian and it has been updated, so it’s available at least on Sid.
